MIZ-ZOU
Missouri just won the season opener against Miami, OH. Kick off was at 11:00 am. We didn't miss a single minute of the action. We watched is with a few friends. Good times. Koleen was at the game, but we did not see her on television. Bummer. The stadium sure looked good as a sea of gold. Just checked and the net game is Friday at 9:30 from Tempe.
We are now relaxing watching the Minnesota/USC game. Not big fans of either school, but that is the only game on that looked interesting. Any college football game is better than regular television. Well, let me be specific. I would rather watch regular television that watch Notre Dame play. I can't stand that team. That is the only time I will switch off a college game. I have been this way for as long as I can remember. I am not exactly sure except that my dad feels the same way. Isn't it funny the things we pick up and believe because of our parents. I simply can't watch them play. Have switched games now. I am watching W. Michigan play Michigan. I will probably stay with this game. W. Michigan just scored and silenced the huge crowd (109,000) at "The Big House".
We are napping now. You know a lazy Saturday after a busy week. I fact, Steve is already asleep. He has been really busy this week. Steve has been feeling wonderful. He has been keeping busy in the "Cave". He is making me a podium for the classroom. It looks wonderful and I will post a picture once it is complete. I can't wait to have it in my classroom. I just love when he is feeling good. He is so much happier and so am I. He smiles and laughs. He seems to enjoy life more when he is feeling good. You know what, I enjoy life more when he is feeling good. It is really difficult when someone you love so much does not feel right. It is hard emotionally, physically, and mentally. Steve helps me with his positive attitude no matter how he feels. He is a wonderful man.
I am counting on the weather changing this weekend. They are predicting 70s this week. I can't wait. We might be able to enjoy the outside for a while if this is true. It will be nice to swing during the day or evening instead of just after dark. After dark, the mosquitoes attack Steve. He is so sweet they just can't leave him alone. Seriously, they just swarm him. We can be outside at the same time in the same place and he will have bites and I won't even know there are bugs around. Must just be our make-up. I know I am not a sweet and good as he is, but I didn't realize that it was really a physical thing that could be proven. :) If the weather turns nice, hopefully Aubree and I can hit the road with our bike. I really miss riding with her.
