Deadliest Catch

Yesterday was a very rough day for Steve.  When I got home, he was not doing well at all.  He was having hot flashes, yet he did not have a fever.  One minute he was hot the next minute he was cold.  I was very concerned.  He did not eat any dinner.  He whole day was not bad.  In fact, he had a great morning and early afternoon.  His friend Zydee came for a visit.  They in turn called Rick and all three went to lunch at, you guessed it....Hog Wild.  They had a nice time catching up and visiting.  Zydee goes  home soon and Steve is already missing him.  Zydee is a good friend.  Steve misses Rick too.  They just don't see each other as often as when they worked together.  After lunch, Steve came home and rested.  He woke up not feeling well.  Like I said, when I got home, he was not feeling well at all.  We did not call the doctor because he did not have a fever.  Steve did promise me that if he didn't get feeling better, He would let me call.

Luckily, he felt better today.  In fact, he was really productive.  He mowed the front yard and spread grass seed with a pulley cart.   He also sprayed weed killer around the trees.  He was a busy little boy.  He did rest this afternoon for about 3 hours.  He is still up watching Top Shot.  I know he is really tired, but he want to see his show.  I am watching the new season of Deadliest Catch.  I am so happy.  I just love this show.  I do however miss Captain Phil.  I just saw a commercial about Dual Survival starting on the 22.  WEEEEE.  It is a great tv month for me.

MAP went ok today.  

I finished my black dress, well except for the hem.  I do not have any black hem tape so I will have to wait  until I make a trip to Walmart or Springfield on Thursday.  Steve said the black dressed look nice.  It is a little different than some I have worn in the past.  We shall see when I complete the outfit if I like the look.  I cut out my pink jacket and have sewn on it.  It is a pattern marked easy, so I should get it finished tomorrow night.  I would have finished it tonight except it has a different kind of collar, one that I have not sewn before, and I didn't want to mess  up since I am tired.  I can wait another day.  If I like the way the jacket fits, I will make another one like it out of my black and gold material.  The jackets will be out of the same pattern, but they will look completely different.   If I don't like it, I will have to find another pattern that I can use.  No big deal.  I am really glad that I am sewing again.  It gives me something to do and I have a finished project to show for my time and effort.
