The new workshop has been a blessing. It has given Steve something to do. His attitude and physical feelings have improved greatly. I am so glad he decided to have a workshop again. He is still organizing it. If he is like me, organizing is half the fun of doing something. He has spent hours and hours and hours down there. He has only taken, maybe, an hour nap a day. I am so glad. I was getting worried about his attitude. I was hoping he would make up his mind and find a hobby. Now I won't have to worry so much about him while I am off at school in a few weeks. He will have something to occupy his mind and body. Prayers answered!!!!! He has been feeling wonderful. The only negative is his feet. They really have been bothering him because the things he has been doing involves standing on his feet. He said that he would make me something. I am not sure what I want. I am doing some deep stewing because I want it to be cool and special. I'll let you know what I decide.
I have been riding my bike every day. I have a little 8 mile route to the coffee shop. Elizabeth rode with me this morning. It was fun. Her chain came off about a mile from the shop. It was an easy fix and we were off again. Steve and I drove a new 10 mile route this evening. I always like him to know my routes incase I have to call out Doss Search and Rescue. I always tell him which way I am going and about how long I should be gone. That way, if I don't show up within a decent amount of time after my deadline, he can come and find me. I have been going at 7 in the morning because it is so much cooler than even though I am a sweaty mess when I get back. I sure do feel good after riding, well, not directly after riding. That is when I must collapse, cool down and chill out for a few. After that and a shower, I really feel great. I sure do love to ride. I am really happy that I have started it up again.
Tomorrow is his scan. It is at 4:00 in the afternoon. It is now no big deal. He has to fast for just an hour before. If they are on schedule, it will take less than an hour. We will probably go out for dinner afterwards. We find the results next Thursday when he goes back for his next appointment and treatment. Please keep him in your prayers. We are praying that the new spot from last time is gone and that his treatment does not hit him hard.
