Stormin?

It is storming to the south and east of us.  We just came in from the back porch where we were watching the light show.  I looked on KY3 and the storm we were watching will probably go southeast of us,  BUT there is another storm to the west near Joplin.  Maybe, just maybe we will get some rain out of it.  They say that we will once again have high heat indexes tomorrow and then a change, cooler weather.  They also say we might get some moisture later in the week.

Steve had a good day today.  He ate breakfast with Aubree and me.  We went to Lowes in Monett for some supplies.  He got some new drill bits and a metric wrench set.  He also got some other things, but I didn't pay attention to them.  He did get some PVC pipe.  Aubree had a great time with it.  She was sitting in the cart because she was tired and used the pipe as a microphone.  She was singing her make-up songs and they echoed through the isles.  Opa was pretty embarrassed but didn't day a thing to her.  It is amazing what she can do that he would have made the girls stop doing.  Maybe he is mellowing in his old age.  We stopped by and visited with Grandma and Grandpa.    Steve started getting tired so we came home to rest.  We dropped Aubree off at Cody's.  He just let me have here while he was working this morning.  I picked her up at 7 and we went bike riding.  We went to the high school parking lot.  We had a wonderful time.  We rode for 30 minutes.  We did several different laps through the front and back lots.  It was perfect.  We would do a lap or so and then stop for drinks a the truck.  We only had one jerky experience when she leaned a little far and I had to catch our balance.  Other than that, no issues.  She did pedal a little more.  We did what I called sprints.  We would count to 3 and then we would pedal as hard as we could for the count of 5.  Then we would rest.  She does not know that I can tell if she is really pedaling because her wheel does not click when she is pedaling.  Also, when we turned a certain way, I could see her shadow.  We still have a lot of work to do to share the work load.  :)

I went to Springfield late this afternoon.  I went to Joann's Fabric.  I picked up some more Christmas prints to finish out my stash for my wall quilt.  I got some fall fabric for a  fall table runner, and some Halloween fabric for either a wall quilt or table runner.  I also picked up some black and white prints for a small wall quilt.  It should keep me busy for a while especially since school will start next week.

Steve is still trying to decide what he want to do next.  I keep throwing out ideas, but he has not jumped on any of them yet.

Tomorrow, we will try to go to church.

The weather radio went off just now and nearly gave Steve a heart attack.  He and just fallen asleep and he nearly jumped out of his skin.  We are not in the warning, some of Lawrence County is.  It is the southeasterly part of the county.  I sure hope that the radio does not go off in the middle of the night.  It always scares Steve to death.
