Steaming Sunday

Once agin it is around 95 degrees as I am posting to you.  Another hot one.  Needless to say, we did very little outside today.  I did get up early and ride 10 miles, and Steve mowed the back yard.  All of this activity happened before 10 am.  It had too.  It was sooooo hot.  We did drive to Aurora to buy a new suitcase from Walmart.  We ate dinner at Braum's but hurried to our air conditioned house.

After mowing, Steve didn't feel so well.  He got hot, but as you know, you can't stop him from doing something once he sets his mind to it.  He rested for a majority of the afternoon.  I mean slept hard.  No watching movies or TV this afternoon for him.  He is doing a little better now but the trip to Aurora wore him out.  We are watching reruns of Dual Survivor.  Gotta love Dave and Cody.  :)

Koleen is on her way home from Columbia. We expect her here within the next hour or two.  She works M, T, Th, and this weekend at the theatre in Monett.  Elizabeth is here.  She is watching TV with us.  She is babysitting all this week.  Amelia has volleyball camp at PC this week.  

I just took Samurai out to the restroom.  Yesterday he must have been bitten by a horsefly because when one flew over him, he freaked.  He took care of his business and than wanted to come right  back in.  We really have to be careful with him outside in this heat.  We did have him shaved, but I know it is still hot.  He spends most of his time outside in the early morning or late evening.  He is such a good dog.
